rate this rap for me?

Germaine asked:

I finished my homework early the other night, and just decided to write this for fun. But then i read over it and i kinda liked it. Just so you know i’ve never rapped before or anything so don’t except rakim-like lyrics it was just for fun. btw it’s not finished i kinda hit a writers block, and i can take your critisism be honest.

It’s about all those underrated mc’s out there (not me) who have talent and work hard, but never made it.

there’s a man out there,
who knows his life ain’t fair,
cuz he’s an mc and has yet to be seen,
yet to drop an album, yet to impress his son
or cop a spot on the hot,
list of rappers who got what’s gotta be got,
he walks in his street,
lookin over his shoulder,
scared to get beat,
by the thugs he owes presidents,
for the drugs he does in his residence,
he’s seen desperate times,
stared into the barrels of nines,
God’s given him no signs,
all he’s got are his rhymes,
he spits fire in his lines,
humiliates those who cross him,
till they beg for him to just go and win,
he hears bout rappers in their diamond penthouses,
walkin arm in arm with twenty-eight spouses,
they think they better than him,
just cuz they got more chedder than him,
but when they’re lazy n’ chillin,
he’s skillin,
mc’s he’s killin, cuz he’s lyrics are illin,
he’s a real killa,
blood spilla, drug sella,
got guns in the cella,
everything he tell ya,
is legit,
the cash he get,
comes from his own sweat,
everything he got he earned,
knows how to go out in victory,
but can also get burned,
retains his dignity,
he lives his raps,
the stories he spins bout bustin caps,
bout shooting dice and totin gats,
are all from experience,
so it don’t make sense,
that he’s still in dump,
workin a gas pump,
but this pain ain’t mine,
i know my life’s fine so why write this line,
cuz i know out there this man is real, tonight his son won’t get to dine
because his life ain’t fine,
at least not like mine,
every night he bows his head in prayer,
he wishes his son could be mayor,
or that his life was more fair,

If You Were The Casting Director For Harry Potter Movies, Would You Change Anything?

March 5th, 2010 by admin | 19 Comments | Filed in Movies
The Dude asked:

I’d add Dobby back into the movies. Also Bill & Charlie Weasley, maybe Stewart Townsend for Bill. Also, the man who is suppose to play Professor Slughorn(the man who was the professor in Chornicles of Narnia) would’ve made a good Dumbledore and Michael Gambon would’ve made a good Slughorn. Nicole Kidman would make a great Narcissa Malfoy and Djmon Husley(sp? Blood Diamond & Gladiator) would’ve made the PERFECT Kingsley Shacklebolt. Also, I’d make Dan. Radcliffe wear green contacts.
If yes, what would you change?
Most sick people have a lot of time on their hands.
The original Dumbledore was Richard Harris(decesased), who wasn’t in LOTR, that was Ian McKellen(alive).

And no, you didn’t spoil anything for me :) In my opinion, Bellatrix Lestrange, Lucius Malfoy, Severus Snape, Hagrid & Voldemort were the BEST casting decisions.

Where can I get Maurice Williams and the Zodiac (or Gladiolas) singing “Little Darling”?

January 25th, 2010 by admin | 1 Comment | Filed in Singing
John (Thurb) McVey asked:

A clip of “The Diamonds” singing it, sounding just like they did in their 1957 recording and the 1958 movie, was on TV, and there are youtube clips of them as young men and old men singing it, in the latter Maurice Williams taking over the bass in an encore, but Williams and “The Gladiolas” put it on the charts before “The Diamonds” made it the first rock and roll song to be released on a 45 rpm, No. 2 on the charts only because of Elvis’s popularity in 1957! The unpublicized down-side of the era was white singers stealing black singers’ thunder.
Thanks, love to dance, for your answer. The clerk said they don’t have it in stock in that particular store, but they can order it, and he also told another store in town where I could probably get it immediately. Heard the Gladiolas perform it when it first came out. Missed dowop (sp) snce the fifties.

Robot Movie?

December 13th, 2009 by admin | 1 Comment | Filed in Movies
Aliver asked:

It’s been so long since I’ve seen it. For some reason I thought Lou Diamond Phillips played a roll.
One scene is of a man standing behind a seated woman, and he squeezes her throat. The viewer thinks that she has died, but then the man takes her face off to reveal that she was really a robot.
The character that I thought Lou Diamond Phillips played, ended up having a robot that looked like him made too.
(wore a black coat? and carried a gun), and I think the bad guys were able to track his credit card spending to try to locate him.
Sorry it’s so vague!

His quotes:
History of the Church, 5:467
Don’t employ lawyers, or pay them money for their knowledge, for I have learned that they don’t know anything. I know more than they all.
History of the Church, 6:78
I combat the error of the ages; I meet the violence of mobs; I cope with illegal proceedings from executive authority; I cut the gordian knot of powers; & I solve mathematical problems of universities, with truth -diamond truth; & God is my “right hand man.”
History of the Church, 6:308
I am learned, & know more than all the world put together.
History of the Church, 6:319-320
God made Aaron to be the mouthpiece for the children of Israel, & He will make me to be a god to you in His stead, and the Elders to be mouth for me; and if you don’t like it, you must lump it.
WHAT ABOUT MATT 18:4 JAMES 4:6?
Joseph Fielding Smith, LDS’ 10th president, went on record as saying that there is “no salvation without Joseph Smith.” (Doctrine of Salvation 1:189)
WHAT ABOUT JOHN 10:1?
I DID NOT take anything out of context. The duck lady just spit it back out and it says the same thing!!! How can you not believe in the LORD JESUS CHRIST OF THE BIBLE only and choose to believe this CRAP???

Isn’t that Muhammad intended to spread his religion by quantity but not quality?

November 11th, 2009 by admin | 10 Comments | Filed in Ramadan
Rasulallah asked:

Islam is just like seaweed. If we underestimated a single cluster of seaweed from the beginning, they occupy the whole lake. It’s obvious that Muhammad spread his religion by various ways, fair or unfair.According to sunnah, his followers still spread the cult by sword and by population right after his death.

He was wise that he thought quantity can overwhelm the whole humanity.>>>>>“Marry the one who is loving and fertile, for I will be proud of your great numbers before the nations.”

(Narrated by Abu Dawood, 2050; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood, 1805)

“And We helped you with wealth and children and made you more numerous in man-power” (17:6)
“ ‘And remember when you were but few, and He multiplied you’”(7:86)

Tell me what have Allah done with the most populated and poorest countries like Somalia. What did Allah grant to Indonesia and Pakistan? The common fact is that citizens will suffer from poverty because of growing population. The population even blasts out to the Western world.Yeah the muslim population makes one fourth of the world’s population but it’s not a matter to be proud of since it leads to poverty.
So I blame on Muhammad for his fleshy wisdom and Allah is the most responsible for this>>>>“And no moving (living) creature is there on earth but its provision is due from Allah” (11:6)

And which is more precious, tons of pebble or a diamond?
Yeah the Qur’an technically says you can’t convert other by force but look at sunnahs. The spread by colonies and birthrate are not included in FORCE.That’s what I get.
@Sincere-Advisor; I’m talking about your birthrate technique.Don’t inflate the Q&A.
OK you Muslims will have to suffer from that population. I’m capable than your prophet that I can have more than a few weak children like Ibrahim ibn Muhammad.
@Sincere-Advisor: I’m not like you.
@RDX; Yeah I read Qur’an but you Muslims don’t follow just the Qur’an.The hadith that I mentioned is authentic, I guess.
