brilliantearth.com sells real diamonds from Canada instead of Africa that are “Conflict Free”. You can read about that on their site.
Moissanite is also a good alternative. It doesn’t look dull like CZ.
Yes, what you described is also out there, but I’ve never bought it, and I forget where I heard about it. I assume you tried Google already?
just google “cultured diamonds” and you get plenty of results.
