Are Lab Created Diamonds the same as Cubic Zirconia?

Looking to buy an engagement ring and there are alot of less expensive ones with “Lab Created Diamonds”. I did a google search and it came up with sites saying that Lab Created are just as durable, pretty and hard as natural diamonds. But are Lab Created Diamonds the same thing as Cubic Zirconia? Because I always thought CZ was kind of a cheaper, less durable kind of fake diamond.

Lab created diamonds are real diamonds. Cubic Zirconia is a different kind of crystal.
Lab Created Diamonds are essentially the same as real diamonds, definitely not cubic zirconia. The only difference between the real thing and the lab created ones are rather than diamond being created over thousands of years by carbon under pressure, carbon is put in a lab pressure chamber to make the diamond.
