lab created diamonds
bunni asked:

ok i wanna get this straight, people are saying that all red, blue, black, yellow diamonds are lab created and that they arent really natural

so does that mean that all people that have fancy colored diamonds means there fake?

so do they really add color in diamonds to make more money because they are fancy colored? or is this just a myth

    No Bunni,
Not all colored diamonds are lab made.
The colors come from impurities in the
    crystallized carbon.
One lab process does have a tendency to
    produce yellow diamonds.
    Others produce “water white” diamonds.
Lab made diamonds are NOT “fake”.
They are as real as the natural kind.

Nope, not true. Colored diamonds are naturally occuring, just EXTREMELY rare. There are lab processes out there that can turn a colorless diamond to colored, and the color will depend on the molecular make-up of theindividual stone. Most colored diamonds you see in the general marketplace are “Enhanced which means that the color was forced in the lab, but if you want a naturally colored diamond, they certainly are available, just extremely expensive
