synthetic diamonds
go_surangasa asked:

the standard enthalpy of formation of diamond is approximately round up 2 kilojules for a mole since them standard conditions are used to calculate them values does it mean that I will get diamond from graphite if I HEAT is appropriately and how is that done to get the better allotrope by heating or if it is not the way cu all how many ways else is synthetic diamonds are made.

Diamond is denser than graphite, so you have to squeeze the bejabbers out of it. Just heating it will only give you hot graphite. Specific entropy comes into it as well as heat. You get into something called Gibbs free energy.

GE at least used to make synthetic diamond dust for industrial grinding use. You might find info on their website.
