“If it wasn’t for a woman, you wouldn’t be here.”?

Sure, but even if that woman’s uterus was made of gold and her eggs were actually diamonds, without a man’s sperm, a woman’s “equipment” is a veritable useless mess, and vice versa. Do people actually take these menial head-butts seriously, or are we so afraid that if we finally resolve problems like sexism, racism, etc. life will just be too dang boring to go on? I always wonder if these problems really ARE that hard to fix, yknow? Battle of the sexes, “affirmative action”, etc. Find a frickin hobby, people! Enough with the conflicts! We get it - life is dull without your drama - but it gets no one anywhere.

What do you think of my story? I still need to edit, so you can help with that to?

As deviously as I could pull off without going over the top, I laughed. “So many people,” I paused, taking my time, “They think they can do anything they want. They think that they’re the only ones on Earth trying to do this.” My voice bellowed off the walls in echoes, the sound waves traveling around the room at lightning speed. Again I laughed, “So depressing. For them, that is.”
As most do, the man cocked his head in confusion, and before he had a chance to speak, I read his lips. “It’s always the same, too. Who are you? Where is your voice even coming from? Get away from me, freak! You know how things can get pretty boring after a while, right? So do me a favor, and let’s just skip that part.” It surprises me how well of an actor I can be. It really does. I’m not really this cool around most people, I’m usually struggling for the right words to say, but when you do things like this everyday, you get pretty good at it. Especially since a lot of times it’s dealing with people you don’t even know.
The limb I had been sitting on, which held up most of the structure of the small jewelry shop, was made of a smooth mahogany wood, and was the size of a log in the woods that had fallen from a tree. I jumped down from it, his back facing me. He turned around, probably more surprised than startled at the loud clack of my boots on the tile floor. I smirked at him, and knowingly began, “You can just empty that bag right there onto the ground, and get out of here. Or, I can handle you myself. It’s your choice.” His hand trembled as he looked down into the bag of jewelry in his hands. He didn’t move, but it may have been out of shock. I pulled out a lighter from my back leather pocket, but stopped as my hand floated over the lever, “Wait a second,” I laughed, pretending to have forgotten, “I don’t need this.” I placed it securely in my back pocket, put one hand on my hip, and stuck my other hand out with my palm up.
A small flame licked my fingertip, but didn’t burn it. It obviously intimidated him as it flickered in front of his now flushing face. His eyes widened. I traced a gulp slip down his throat. His lips weren’t moving at all; in fact they were frozen in a thin, straight line. “It’s your choice,” I repeated. He looked me from my head, to my toes, particularly stopping at the flames that now engulfed my finger. But again, it didn’t burn the least bit. See, you can’t really say I’m like every other human. He turned his head hesitantly, not taking his eyes off me, and called out his friend’s name.
He was now slowly walking out the entryway to an extension of the building where they stocked some of their jewelry, screaming, “What? What’s your problem, man?” He got one glance of me, and I smiled pleasantly at him. He dropped his brown ripped up sack to the ground, started heading for the exit, followed by the other man who had done the same thing. “Nice meeting you!” I shouted innocently at them.
When the front glass doors were shut and those creeps were gone, I wringed my hand out in the air to put out the flame on my fingertip. Letting out a deep breath, I ran and grabbed both bags. They were dirty and gross, but they were also full. As fast as I could, I put the expensive jewelry, made of diamonds, jewels, and thing I only dreamed of owning, back in their spots as close to perfectly, and gently shut the top of the heavy glass case they were displayed in. Luckily the men hadn’t shattered it, and nothing was broken. Entering the extension, I returned the other jewelry to where it belonged.
Carefully and quickly I grabbed my long, plaid trench coat from where I had dropped it when I walked in. It covered my leather outfit, making me look somewhat more normal. I pulled my beret from its pocket, pulled it over my head, and casually pushed open the doors that lead outside.
Dawn had long before ate its last bites of daylight and now ruled the night sky like an invading army. The second I stepped onto the sidewalk the crisp breeze tackled me. My footsteps were faint, the only things lighting the sidewalk were cheap streetlights.

How is this part of my novel?

Marina asked:

( This is the middle of my novel DO NOT correct the grammer )

I looked out to the ocean the waves made a low sound as the summer breeze gave me slight goose bumps. “Come on, I want to show you something” Cecil said in a excited voice he took my hand and leaded me in silence to the deserted part of the beach in silence, that was the cue to let me know that the day I had spent with Cecil would either be complete or be a total fail. The water hit my ankles as he stopped and turned to me. “Crystal I had let you down before I had let everything happen to you that I swore on myself would never happen to you as long as I was around.” His eyes were soft as if he was about to tear himself, something I think I would be afraid to see him do it wouldn’t be in his character. “The times that you had been hurt had made me less of a man then you could ever imagine” he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small ring I couldn’t speak at the least breathe. I couldn’t do this; before I opened my mouth I saw that marriage wasn’t his objective. “This is to show you that I will always be right behind you whenever you want me Crystal I always want to be there for you I am truly sorry but” he bit his lip as if checking if the words he spoke were what he wanted to say, I guess even perfection in my view could have its mistakes. “I won’t let Bret or anyone else take you away from me.” He took my hand gently I was trying to not shake from the sudden felling of being someone’s need not just someone that was another person’s want. He slipped the ring on slowly like he was afraid I would reject it. I moved my hand slowly from his not sure how to react to this. Just act natural I said to myself afraid I would do something unexpected, well that wouldn’t be bad since Cecil wasn’t exactly the kind of guy you would find anywhere I was sure he liked verity but I would do something that would make me look like a idiot. I looked at the ring it seemed to be old there was a fine line of rust around the diamond that was the point of the ring, and then Cecil said something I didn’t expect. “There is another reason I gave you this ring” he started “if you can break that diamond with bare hands I will stop loving you.” He put his arms around me as I melted into them listening to the heartbeat that was the usually shallow kind Cecil always had I was sure he felt the great difference as he could fell mine, there wasn’t a inch to spare between us.

what was your most cool dream, and your saddest dream?

May 9th, 2010 by admin | 2 Comments | Filed in Psychology
myself… YEAH! asked:

most cool: (i have 2)

my cousin died last august and both of these dreams are about him.

1.
i literally lived 1 foot away from a mcdonalds. they didn’t sell food though, they only sold high end drinks and diamonds. my house was made of glass, most of the glass was etched with huge desings in it, except for the living room. the living room was all clear glass except for a panel that ran along the base of the walls that was about 3 feet high and it was blue glass. my cousins (1 boy, 1 girl. both still alive) and my best friend were at my house… we decided to go to mcdonalds and get some drinks, but i wanted a diamond necklace. the boy cousin, ryan, got a sprite that had eatable gold flakes in it. my girl cousin, ollie, got a dr. pepper… that was it for her lol. and i wanted a diamond necklace, but i couldn’t decide which one. so we got the drinks and left. when we got back to my house there were 2 doves that had broke through the blue panel glass in the living room, one was fine, and the other was dying. i sat with the birds for a long time, the bird that was fine was a girl and the dying one was a boy. i held the boy in my hands… until he died. i then named him allen (my cousin who died) and the girl i wanted to set free… i cupped her in my hands and took her outside, as she flew away, i named her veronica (allen’s wife)

^^ this dream was so cool… i loved it, it was kind of sad, but it was a good message. i dont know about the fancy mcdonald thing though lol.

since allen had died, veronica and i have become very close. we are like best friends, we’re always together. this one is very short
2.
i was standing on a hill, the sun was brighter than ever, but i didnt have to squint. everything was so perfect. a man appeared in front of me, and asked me if i was afraid of death? i replied no (cause im not). he began to tell me the story of how veronica and allen had met. after the long story he said i had 2 options. 1. stay in this perfect place with veronica, and allen remain dead. -or- 2. i die, and allen comes back for veronica. i chose option 2.

the reason i think that one is so cool, is cause that’s the real me. that is something i would do for someone… and it felt so real.

saddest:
this happened in real life but it sucks when it just keeps replaying in your dreams.

i came home from dinner with my family and i went outside to get my dogs… when i looked out the back door, all i could see was blood. blood everywhere. i looked down and saw my pomeranian laying in front of the door, he was still breathing. i yelled as i ran through the house to the front door “call the vet!” i ran out the front door to the side of the house, i jumped over the fence and ran to my dog. i gently picked him up as he wimpered. i took him to my dad, i was covered in blood, and then went to my mom and she was getting the car keys. we drove the dog to the emergency vet and after a few hours of him being with the doctor, the doctor came out and said “he’s lost too much blood, his lung was punctured by another animal” i then woke up crying and i still have this dream sometimes.

Uneasy feelings about two dreams last night.

April 13th, 2010 by admin | 4 Comments | Filed in Dream Interpretation
blackmamba204@rocketmail.com asked:

I had two really strange dreams last night. Normally I can figure them out, but not these…

This first I have lost some content of, but it involves a man who I am in love with (but do not actually know in real life) and who has throughout the dream, expressed love for me too. We are in a lush outdoor space - a backyard with green grass and lots of leafy foliage. There is a white tent with chairs set up. They are full of people, though I cannot see them. A ceremony of some sort is taking place (but it is not a wedding ceremony…something more like an awards ceremony). I am standing behind a pole off to the right side watching, and the man gets up and announces he is leaving. A few minutes later, we are talking off to the side and he kisses me and then tells me he is leaving with his girlfriend (new or old, reunited or not, I can’t remember, though I think newly reunited) and that he needs to find himself, but that he was going to do it with her or maybe me, but that he had to figure it out. I am left with an incredible feeling of heartache. The dream ends.

The second dream involves mer sister and I moving furniture out of a large brown wood paneled, multipurpose room with a very tall, peaked ceiling on the second or third floor of what is supposed to be my childhood home…though the room does not really exist. As we move stuff down a staircase that hugs a wall, there is a sense of spirits who are in the house. Sometimes they leave imprints from where the furniture was and is going. We are moving a waist hight brown cabinet (the only piece left in the room) and maneuvering it through a door towards the stairs. I keep get an uneasy feeling about being watched by a glass eye attached to a brown box that is mounted on a nearby wall. I try to tell if it is actually watching me by moving around and catch it moving at times. It makes me really uneasy. The other spirits are also occasionally making noises too. I flash forward to being downstairs in the kitchen with me mother (this is my actual childhood kitchen now) and I look outside and see a large silver ring floating towards our back door. It has a couple of small diamonds in it, but it really is not too flashy. The ring turns right past the back door and as it does so, transforms into a tarnished gray metal, loses the diamonds and changes shape. By the time it lands on the floor of my screen porch, it is actually no longer a ring but an intricately shapes silver object, encrusted in jewels but the main part of it is made up of a silver and diamond encrusted grinning skull. I pick it up and bring it back to show my mom. She is uneasy about it and so I go and put it back on the porch. When I put it down on the green painted porch floor, I notice some red writing and a little farther away, an upside down picture of a pirate with a place for something in it’s arms that is not there (as though the pirate was holding something). I put the skull piece back in the place on top of the pirates arms and walk back inside. Standing inside again, I see my cat from childhood walk through the kitchen and I a relieved that she got away from the spirits upstairs. I then hear a little girl who I know is upstairs, but not really worried about, calling my name. I got climb the stairs and look into her room, which is about where mine was growing up and she signals to me that she was not the one calling and that it was the evil spirit who copied her voice and that I should go back down stairs. When I get back down, I am really uneasy and my mom suggests I talk to my sister, who is in the adjoining room and find out the name of the exorcist she used the week before to get rid of another spirit. The woman exorcist’s name is Courtney. (I have not recently met or interacted with a woman by that name). The dream ends.

Any ideas?

Oh, I forgot to add that after I came inside from putting down the skull, it got incredibly windy outside (very, very powerful gusts) and there was a voice that started to yell in the distance. It was not anything in particular, just a yell/scream. I ran and fought against the wind to close both the kitchen door that went outside and the door that goes from the dining room to the porch.

It wasn’t a long walk home of crossing abandon back roads and parking lots, silent and lonely, to find my roommate sprawled across the couch, the TV loud, an empty bag of potato chips on her chest. She sprouted up when she heard the door swing open. Her hair was a mess of tangles and knots,
